Once the majestic creatures of the bush and the nation’s iconic representatives, kangaroos are now intensely harvested for food and killed off for being damaging pests. Join Dr Dror Ben-Ami from the UTS Institute for Sustainable Futures and animal rights expert Keely Boom, a research fellow with THINK in this final instalment of UTSpeaks for the year in what will be an impassioned discussion about the conservation of the most recognisable Australian symbol.
